March 21, 2024 The FDV Wintershow was held in Beilen, Drenthe last weekend. The new Grand Champion and Senior Champion of the show is Chelios daughter: Geertje 598 exhibited by Glind Holsteins VOF! The Honorable Mention Senior title went to Solomon daughter New Moore Solomon from New Moore Holsteins. Her herdmate New Moore Tedbu463 (s. Tedbull) was Reserve Champion R&W. New Moore Side Maria 510 (s. Sidekick) became 2nd in the first class with 2yr. olds and won the ribbon for Best Udder of the class. The title of Reserve Jr. Champion went to Bh Applecrisp Jose 1 exhibited by Bosma Holsteins. The Jr. Honorable Mention Champion was for Giessen Maxima 12 (s. Mooi P *RC). December 18, 2023 Last friday the Wintershow Wanneperveen was held in Wanneperveen, the Netherlands. This year was the Grand Champion title for Giessen Cinderella 216 after she won the Intermediate Champion title earlier that evening. Giessen Cinderella 216 is sired by Delaberge Pepper out of Kingboy daughter Giessen Cinderella 131 and produced in her 1st lactation >14.800kgM! Judge, Nico Bons (Bons Holsteins) placed her for New Moore Doorman Jantje, owned by New Moore Holsteins in the class with Intermediate cows. Doorman Jantje was just 6 weeks fresh but looks very promising, she is a Doorman daughter out of Fever daughter New Moore Jantje 51. November 27, 2023 It was an amazing classification round for Giessen Holsteins!! They scored 22 2yr. olds which resulted in an average of VG 86,8. Five 2yr. olds scored the barely given VG-88-NL 2yr., which is quite in the Netherlands. The 2yr. olds were sired by Warrior-Red, Atwood, Crushtime, Moovin *RC, Undenied, Denver, Unstopabull, Darlingo, Pepper, Sidekick, Master, Beemer, Excalibur, Upgrade and the home-bred bulls Giessen Charityman and Giessen Struik from famous families of Precilla, Marqi, Cinderella, Gorgeous, Ashlyn and Brookview Tony Charity!! Click further for more info.   Read More

November 15, 2023 The WTC Expo in Leeuwarden were this weekend the entrance for the HHH-Show 2023. The quality of the cattle and ambience was again fantastic! November 7, 2023 Giessen Holsteins (Theo van Vliet) had again an incredible 'milk' year! Giessen Holsteins is the #10 production herd from the Netherlands and again the number 1 production herd from the province Drenthe for the milk registration year 2022 - 2023. The herd avarage from 2022-2023: 13.362kgM / cow / year with 4,50% Fat, 3,46% Protein and 1.064kg combinated Fat + Protein, a super achievement! Also the 10 2yr. olds scored an average of VG-87,3 with VG-88,0 for udders! This makes Giessen Holsteins the #3 TYPE in the Netherlands. An rare combination, congrats to the Van Vliet family with this huge accomplishment!! August 14, 2023 It was again time for the Rundvee Show Noord (RSN-Show) in Lhee last Saturday. Several Eurogenes members participated at this provincial show of Northern-Netherlands. The first title of the day went to New Moore Holsteins with winning the Reserve 2yr. old title with New Moore Victor Es 131 (s. Victor). Giessen Holsteins won class 3 with 2yr. olds with Moovin *RC daughter: Giessen Charity 253 VG-89-NL VG-89-MS 2yr. (MAX) and won class 6 with Intermediate cows with the just fresh Atwood daughter: Hilltop Atwood Maxima EX-91-NL EX-92-MS! Floydholm Energy Emotional, owned by Hullcrest Holsteins, became Champion Calves and Reserve Grand Champion Heifers at the show and Nohl Adora (s. Doral-Red) became Reserve Champion Heifers.
