OH DG Topstone still takes the lead in the German RZG ranking
The German indexes just came in! New this year in the German index is the trait: RZPersistence. This additional breeding value persistence is intended to support day-to-day selection decisions by indicating the ability of the animals to maintain milk production for as long as possible. This breeding value is particularly interesting for farmers who want to consciously extend the lactation. In average all the bulls with a German index drop 5 points in RZG. A solide April 2023 index run for OH DG Topstone, he is still the #1 B&W daughter proven sire at +156 RZG and +113 RZE. He is followed by Superhero son Super Uno at +152 RZG and making the stage complete with Suprem at +149 RZG. Also a solide proof for Veelhorst DG Casino at the 5th spot at +148 RZG with 4332 daughters at 1046 different farms in his index . The Nr. 1 R&W Daughter Proven sire is Aperol P at +145 RZG, followed by Solitair P at +143 RZG and the #3 daughter proven R&W RZG sire is Snickers P at +141 RZG. Furthermore we find at a shared 6th place COL DG Spark-Red at +138 RZG, followed by NH Solito-Red at +137 RZG.
