WELCOME TO WILLSBRO Here at Willsbro the 1000 cow herd is milked 3 times a day, on a state of the art 60 point rotary parlour. The cows are all housed in a deep sand free stall barn, with a new fan ventilation system; cow comfort is our main priority. We farm around 2500 acres, much of which provides the cereals and forage needed for the cow and young stock rations, but also provides the land from which we base our Pawton shoot. At Willsbro we pride ourselves for being a family run business, where 8 family members help in the day to day running of the dairy. Willsbro Holsteins was founded in 2003, when the whole herd was graded up to full pedigree status. This is when we realized that it was good cow families that keep breeding true and the importance of good genetics Over the last five years we have been building up a large nucleus of world renowned cow families that we feel can develop within our herd. Our goal is to produce excellent, high yielding, long lasting cows, that we can market genetics from world-wide. Entering the show ring hasnt always been our goal, but as we have seen the cows thrive in the system, it has been an enjoyment to see our best, against the best. We feel that it is time to share our awesome collection of the best Holstein genetics in the world today and look forward to meeting you at Willsbro in the future.
